I'm looking for a free editing and animation program that isn't completely trash. I just want to tinker around a bit and try it out. I do not expect a good program that would be comparable to Photoshop (even if it would be nice if there was one), but just one with which I can get closer to editing videos or animating short sequences.
Can anyone recommend a program to me?
PS: I would still be interested in the price of high-quality programs. Especially animation programs e.g. The one that the YT channel "Black Plasma Studio" uses to animate Minecraft films.
I can recommend Davinci Resolve for an editing program. It's completely free and pretty good too. I'm not sure if you can use it to animate.
Davinci resolve to cut
Blender for 3D animation and more
The highest quality animation program will probably be Cinema4D (but Blender is also extremely good if you can). C4D costs an infinite amount of money. Don't know the price right now.
And the cutting programs from Adobe after effects and premiere are probably the best cutting programs, but there are many other Sony Vegas and so on
Of course, editing and animation are different.
As a video editing program I would recommend Davinci Resolve, fusion can also be used to create 3D effects or incorporate 3D objects. (Or include animations)
I recommend Blender as an animation program.
To animate: Blender
For cutting: DaVinci Resolve
