When I try to install Minecraft Forge, only my Windows Editor opens and I can't install it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Do you have java installed?
Actually - if I remember correctly - it has to open as a jar file.

It should be due to Java. (https://www.java.com/de/)
Download Forge HERE: http://files.minecraftforge.net/...forge.net/ and choose a version.
Go to your Downloads folder and right click on the file. Then click on Open With and choose OpenJDK Platform Binary.
I'll install Java, I thought it would work without it… Let's see if it works then
