I have a new computer that has enough power for some games. Now I wanted to play Minecraft, but it does not work.
For some reason I can't play the latest version of minecraft… Does anyone have a hint for me?
And since yesterday, again and again small advertising pop-ups appear on my desktop What should make me?
Did you legally download Minecraft on the Mojang website and if you already have ads on the desktop, you probably have a virus or something else. I would perhaps uninstall the programs that caused the problem. And back to the Minecraft question, did you install Java as well?
Against the virus, I can only recommend the ADWCleaner and Malwarebytes. Just run both over it once.

Yes, it is the same with other versions.
Z.b at 1.8 I get into the game but it then crashes after a short time. For other versions, I'm stuck directly in Mojang screnn. And there's no reaction and if I want to close minecraft because it does not work the message comes: Java (TM) Platform SE binary does not respond.
