I played Minecraft (with LabyMod) today and it has been very popular. I have already added 12GB Ram to Minecraft, but it still consumes everything.

Minecraft always needs a lot of RAM, so it always takes everything you allocate to it. Even though the 12GB are probably not really full, the program simply reserves it for itself and tells the system that the memory is not free.
