What can you do with Minecraft Windows 10 Edition?

Hello first of all I got the game "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" a few days ago and wanted to know what you can do because it is not a Java edition so does anyone know what you can do and what the difference is?

I think it's like the console versions of minecraft, you can play singleplayer as normal, but multiplayer you can't access the Java version servers.
