I would like to create a server with the Windows 10 Edition of Minecraft, which you can then access, no matter which Minecraft Edition you use. Do not want that then the server is limited to the Windows 10 Edition. Since I use only the Windows 10 edition, I do not know how I can create a server, since all instructions are based on the Java Edition. Can anyone help me further?
The Bedrock server software exists but is not mature. I do not know much about it.

There are 3 different versions to consider.
1. Java Edition - Classic Minecraft for the PC
2. Bedrock Edition - these include:
Pocket Edition
Windows 10 Edition
Gear VR Edition
Fire TV Edition
Xbox One Edition
Nintendo Switch Edition
and 3. Legacy Console Edition
Xbox 360
PlayStation 3
PlayStation 4
PlayStation Vita
Wii U Edition
Java can only play together with Java, Bedrock only with Bedrock and Legacy Console only with Legacy Console.
So you can only interact with the listed under 2. Versions. I suppose there are some unexplored servers but for the BE you might want to rent a realm (more on minecraft.net and the internet).
PS: Get the Java Edition.
I already have the Windows 10 Edition and I have no plans to change, then I stay in single player mode
