Are 100hz and 8ms enough for gaming? (GTA, CoD, Minecraft, …)
8ms is huge, you should go in the direction of 1ms 😅

Yes, also 60hz. Only the 100 or 144hz give a noticeably better experience. You don't notice a difference between 1ms and 5ms, it probably won't be any different with 8ms. In addition, the latency times are often related to GtG (gray-to-gray).
The reaction times are therefore nonsense, you should first look to minimize your network ping. I have a 1ms and 4ms monitor, and see no difference at all. However, I see one between 60 and 120hz.
But 1 second corresponds to 1000ms. Can you even perceive this difference of 0.008 seconds?

But yes, I do believe that you can feel it. 1ms to 8ms for sure.
100Hz is a good sweet spot to the "conventional" 60Hz and the "normal" maximum of 144Hz (there are more, but only a few).
8ms response time is okay. You will feel absolutely nothing of it.
Also no difference between 1ms… This is just marketing.
100Hz is a significant upgrade to 60Hz. That will be noticeable. (No personal experience!).
Regarding the reaction time: This is marketing and milliseconds are not noticeable.
Of course, 100hz is a lot better, I only said that for me it is only really fluid from 120.
