Are these PC components sufficient?

I would like to know whether these components (list below) are sufficient for the following programs / games:

-Unreal Engine 4 (game programming, creating 3D graphics, etc.)

-Fortnite

-Apex Legends

- CoD: Warzone

-LoL

-Valorant

-Minecraft

-Borderlands 3

These would be the PC components:

Housing: MSI MPG Gungnir 110M

Mainboard: MSI MAG B460M Mortar Wi-Fi

CPU: i7-10700f (box)

GPU: GigaByte Radeon RX 5500 XT Gaming OC 8GB

M.2 SSD: Curcial P2 1TB

Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

DDR-4 RAM: Ballistix TM 32 GB Kit DDR4-2666

PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 11 600W

Are these components sufficient or good for the areas specified above?

I thank you in advance for the answers.

Di

Yes, very well

Pl

No they are not. This is not memory, they are stupid. You have to take normal coarsair vengeance rgb pro / white. The enchantment light things are only there visually. The PC will not start up.

Sm

In addition, the rest is totally insane… I mean, a 10700F WITH BOXED COOLER (Yes, what's that? A paper wind turbine cools better than wasting resources!) Combined with a beginner's gaming GraKa from AMD? That's absolute cheese.

Pl

Again we meet xD Yes, my only thought that I had is that the CPU will be necessary for unreal engine. I wouldn't buy it myself either.

Sm

Right xD

But please, you don't pair such a CPU with an Rx5500xt… I'd rather save something on the CPU and get myself a Ryzen 7 with a decent B450 board.

Yes, the compilation looks pretty good. Of course, it depends a little bit on what you consider "good or sufficient". This then depends on the following factors. In which resolution do you want to play (Full HD, WQHD, or 4k)? Would you like to have all settings (i.e. Shadows, effects, anti-aliasing etc.) on Ultra in all games? And how many FPS should be on the screen in the end (or how much can your monitor display at all). 60-80FPS are common for "non-online shooters" and 80-144FPS for online shooters. Some also argue that fast shooters need even more FPS (up to 300). But in my opinion that is "Formula 1" level and "need" to do that, maybe professional progamers. In my opinion, the current "sweetspot" is 100-140FPS.

I'll pick COD: Warzone out now because the requirements of the games you mentioned are probably the ones with the highest requirements. I'm assuming that you want to play Full HD (or called 1080p).

I would estimate that with all settings on "ultra" you are at 70-80FPS. If you set the settings to low-medium you will be at 95-115FPS.

But in summary I would say: "Well put together mid-range system on which you will run all current games (and especially those listed) well to very well."

Ps. I like the chic case ;-)

Thank you for bringing the RAM to my attention. I have now revised the RAM.

Pl

Unfortunately not really. The CPU is oversized and the RAM is not RAM but rather optically dumb to fill the slots. So you can't say a very good confi.

tr

Bad.
As RAM here: https://geizhals.de/...at&hloc=de

As a cooler of: https://geizhals.de/...94867.html

As a graphics card an RTX3070 or the upcoming 3060: https://geizhals.de/...-+RTX+3070 (Due to the current situation, the RTX3070 is often more expensive)

As an SSD (do not use the HDD for this) the: https://geizhals.de/...at&hloc=de

The be Quiet Straight Power 11 650w: https://geizhals.de/...at&hloc=de as a power supply unit

Edit: Saw that you took out the RAM dummies. 2666MHz RAM is slow these days.

Wi

Thank you for your answer and your compliment. My monitor is 100 Hz and AMD FreeSync. The resolution is 1920x1080, i.e. FullHD.

If I take a closer look at dad, there are more things that can be changed. For example, you definitely need a smart CPU cooler. The boxed coolers are borderline. The beqiet dark rock slim would be perfect, it doesn't cover any ram benches or is small enough not to be a nuisance and also has 180 watts of power, which should be more than enough.

Lo

Yes totally idiotic probably not exactly… But yes with the cooler I would agree with you, you should put a nice tower cooler on it. The CPU is definitely a bit "over power" for the graka and the intel just doesn't have the best price / performance ratio, but of course you can also see it in such a way that you have a long rest with the CPU. I know a lot of people who first go a little higher with the CPU on a new PC and then have 3-4 Graka generations with the same system.

Pl

Is it mainly gaming or unreal engine for you? Because your gpu is well, it doesn't fit into the rest. It would probably be an idea at least. To get a rx5700xt and since gpus degrees are dearly expensive, I would wait until the new rtx 3000 are cheaper or if you get a normal 3060 (uvp 329 euro) for something under 400 euro or rubbed 3060ti (uvp 399 euro) for 450 or a little more I would strike immediately. Because something like that suits your CPU, you could pack everything with your CPU, possibly even a 3090 or rx6900xt

Wi

Thank you for your recommendation.

I would actually say that gaming is of secondary importance to me. So it's more about the Unreal Engine.

Pl

With the cpu I also did that as a transition. One r5 3600xt and one gtx 1050ti. The 3600xt is purely for this because I can upgrade to the next few graka gens without any problems. Although I have to admit that the constant 31fps somehow feels pretty fluid, but maxed settings in Cod.

Lo

Yes, you can see the other comments here, all of which have their right to exist. The system is of course not optimized for an optimal price / performance ratio and I had even overlooked that with the Ram:-) … But with the Ram even now that you have the dummies out, it would tend to 3000Mhz or 3200 …

Pl

OK then the prop fits because the rendering is really annoying in unreal engine because you almost need a cpu.

Je

The components are sufficient for your requirements. However, the graphics card is somewhat on the weak side compared to the processor and RAM.
