What will happen to Minecraft?

There are several versions in Minecraft. A few say at some point the versions (Java Edition and Bedrock Edition) will be the same version. The others say the Java Edition will be deleted (hopefully not) what really happens then?

What I have heard is that from the next version onwards, MC users will have to log in with the Microsoft account. I.e. You have a Microsoft account and no longer a Mojang account.

No it is not deleted Java is only adapted to the Bedrock.
