Forgive after death?

I accidentally shot a zombie infected Piglin in Minecraft and everyone is mad at me now. Then I died, but they still attacked me. How can I stop them forgiving me?

Set difficulty to Peaceful

So, I don't understand why they're not mad, actually they'll be peaceful again if they kill you.

But they become peaceful again if you are out of their sight radius for at least 40 seconds (at least 25 blocks are save)

No, it only takes at least 40 seconds

Just use the command / gamerule forgiveDeadPlayers true. That's it.
