Minecraft playerdata NBT editor?

I wanted to use the NBTEditor to change my Playerdata.dat so that I can add items to my inventory. Now I'm wondering how I should enter the colon, which some items have to indicate the variation, in the NBTEditor, since I can't just enter a colon

I found it at Stackoverflow, everyone with the same problem, the data of the item, i.e. The number after the: must be inserted at Damage.
