What is more worthwhile: Replacing the battery or a laptop power bank?

So the Asus laptop has such strange symptoms. Because every time the battery is below 60%, and you operate with battery, then the display starts to flicker around certain areas. For example, when you open Windows 10 Start menu, it flickers around for a few milliseconds. Or if you scroll in Explorer then it also flickers. When watching YouTube, it flickers without end. Especially when you start Minecraft, it flickers so strongly that the display remains black for a few seconds.

And no, it's not because of Windows 10, because the display also flickered before Windows 10 booted.

This flicker smyptome only occurs with a battery when the battery is below 60%. Because if the battery is over 60% or is operated via a power supply unit, it does not flicker at all. Another thing I noticed is that the lower the battery, the more often the display flickers.

Do you think a battery exchange would help? Or would it be better to buy a laptop power bank? Because it seems to me that replacing the battery won't help and that nothing will change with flickering.

The model number of the laptop is Asus F555L.

I think it makes more sense to replace the laptop, with 60% there should be no weaknesses that you mention. Something is wrong there.

Just it. Not even the onboard sound card and Bluetooth will recognize it. CD drive can't be opened either. So this Asus laptop behaves very mysteriously.

Then don't leave it unattended, don't let it go up in flames. Dispose of and replace properly.

Well, I don't want to dispose of a laptop. Because that also harms the environment. Because if everything else works, you want to keep using it.
