How can this be when the laptop display sometimes flickers around only when it is running on battery?

So there's a problem with Asus laptop. Because every time you operate in the battery, the display only starts to flicker in a certain area. So z. B. If you open the Windows 10 Start Menu, it flickers around for a few milliseconds, or if you move the Explorer window then it also flickers or when you start Firefox it also flickers around. But otherwise if you move with the mouse, the flickering does not happen. This only happens in some software areas. We have therefore tried to start Minecraft to see how much it will flicker. And the result is that the Minecraft startup laptop not only flickered massively, but somehow switched itself off afterwards, and you could hear the noises that the hard drive was constantly going on and off. When we connected the power supply, everything works again, the display works perfectly, all hardware can boot up and Minecraft was finally able to continue loading and it doesn't flicker that strange.

But otherwise in the BIOS setting or in Windows 10 boot process does not flicker even in battery mode. And Windows 10 can also be started with a battery without any problems. These flickering symptoms only start from the Windows 10 lock screen.

Is there any way to fix that? Because laptops only operate with a power supply is pretty stupid. Because then the laptop doesn't make any sense at all. Is there at least a power bank for a laptop? Or would at least help replace the battery?

I would say that the battery is defective.

Bios and Windows start are minimal graphics applications or even just text display - so low power requirement in terms of display, but as soon as a graphic comes into play, the battery can't provide the display (graphics card).
That produced flickering.

It doesn't happen with the power supply unit, which delivers the power.
