"Exit Code 0" is a wrong error message, because 0 means something like "successfully executed". The correct exit code should be found in the logs / crash logs.
Click on Settings in the launcher (bottom left), and then on "Open output log as soon as games are started". Then you start your Minecraft. The output protocol should also open here. In this you tick Warn, Error and Fatal. As soon as the game crashes you copy everything that is in the output protocol and send it in here. Then I can help you.
