How many creepers do you need to destroy a house (minecraft)?

So seriously, please give yourself more trouble writing questions. But how do you want to defend it? In the water, exploding Creepers do no block damage. So maybe a ditch or something. But I think it would also help to illuminate everything within a few chunks. Torches go for now, later you can improve that with red tone technology or something. Or go farming and get the best equipment you can. With sharpness 5 and flame it should not be a problem to kill some Creepers.
