Can you set in Minecraft that grass does not spread?

I heard somewhere that there's a setting in Minecraft where you can set that plants or grass generally does not spread. I'm building a dirt landscape with a few grass accents. But since the block of grass is spreading and the whole landscape, which is made of earth, will soon be grass, that's not possible. I could of course use coarse earth instead of normal earth, but I don't want that. Please don't tell me that I could do it that way, I'm finally looking for an attitude.

So if this setting really exists, where can I find it? It would be nice if you could tell me what the setting is called and where I have to set it exactly. I use the version 1.15.2 of Minecraft. So it should also be feasible with this version.

If you are in chat / gamerule randomtickspeed 0

In a row, plants no longer spread, but grain no longer grows either

It is best to use coarse dirt in combination with dirt and grass. No grass can grow on coarse dirt, and if you cover the grass with coarse dirt and decorate me with dirt a bit you should get a really nice dirt landscape.

He can also use coarse dirt. He would also get good accents for his landscape, which he can't achieve with dirt alone.

What did I write in my question?

I could of course use coarse earth instead of normal earth, but I don't want that. Please don't tell me that I could do it that way, I'm finally looking for an attitude.

By setting the randomTickSpeed to 0 (gamerule randomTickSpeed 0).

Note, however, that random block events then no longer occur. These include the growth of trees and other plants, the death of leaves, the getting wet or drying of arable land, the spreading of fire and melting of ice. And and and.

A simpler alternative would be rough earth or another block.

Yes, but why not? It would add a lot to the landscape.

If this can't be changed, then do / gamerule randomTickSpeed 0 then nothing grows anymore.

I said that I don't want to change that and nothing should be written to me. I've done a landscape with a lot of different "soil" blocks and mycelium has spread, even though I had rough earth around it. As soon as you forget that somewhere, you have the rabbit.
