Minecraft grass block?

I want to build a park under the earth. For that I need earth with grass on it, so the blocks there. But grass doesn't grow on blocks of soil under the earth, does it? Or is that also possible with a lot of light?

No, at most with a / fill comand. Enter / fill on youtube and they'll explain it to you. Unless you mean if there's no block above, then it should go as soon as you have a block of grass. If you need one, dismantle it with care or be lucky that an enderman drops it.

So there are a couple of options for that.

- You're cheating on blocks of grass

- You make holes in the ceiling with glass, which looks better anyway when natural light comes in

- You let grass grow down a path

- You open everything, then there's grass downstairs and then you close again

You can get grass and flowers by right-clicking on the grass blocks with bone meal. Have fun!

Only works with the enchantment silk touch / cautiousness or you let the grass grow down (if a dirt block is next to a grass block, it will eventually also become a grass block).

I have to admit I don't know, but it's definitely in the Mincraft Wikipedia. Sometimes it's all about light above, sometimes it's also about brightness. Try it. If you dig this deep, it would be better to take a block of grass (shovel carefully) down, because it spreads faster than it grows.

Either you use a tool with care and break down a block of grass with it, or you look for an Enderman with a block of grass in hand and kill him, but I would not recommend that if you need a lot of blocks.

Simply illuminate your entire earth surface with torches - then place a block of grass somewhere, and it will spread over the entire earth, after that all is grass.

She can save herself the work, she can also simply use torches. Grass needs light to spread - but it doesn't have to be daylight, torches work too.

Then why should there be grass below? Grass doesn't come from nothing. A block of earth can only turn into grass if there's already a block of grass around it.

PS: You forgot the simplest variant. Simply dismantle a grass block with Silk-Touch and place it below. ^^

But only if there's enough light. It could be sunlight, or it could just be a torch every few blocks.
