A quick question about adventure mode. Can you hit other players when this one is on, or do I have to adjust it separately?
The adventure mode is not my area at all, but as far as I know everything is simply deactivated in the adventure mode, so you have to set everything yourself. So I think that you have to activate PvP, you can set that as completely normal.

Do you want to turn this off or on? If you want to have it on, you have it on now, if not, just set pvp to false in the server properties or, settings, or do the whole thing in the plugin with which you generated the world (e.g. Multiverse core) or set a WorldGuard flag. If it's in Singeplayer, you can edit that in the Minecraft folder (that's a little more complicated).
