Minecraft adventure mode can't get out of a dug hole?

My son has just started playing Minecraft. We recently discovered that there are different "levels". While exploring the game, he dug his character straight into a deep stone hole. Without tools, nothing. Now he can't get out. What to do? He plays with the tablet. He is currently building in the creative mode. Everything ok. But for my ambition I want to know what happens in the adventure level and whether it is not too scary for a 7 y.

I look forward to quick answers.

So you can knock yourself out with your hand… It takes ages, but it would be possible… Otherwise, crafting ladders, jumping lotions, or maybe if you place a water bucket at the top of the hole, then you can swim up in the water…

Of course your son has to build himself up with the blocks, then he should come up again.

Could it be that you mean the "adventure mode"?

This blocks actions such as dismantling and placing.

Often used in adventure maps so that players can't accidentally break something wrong.

To get out of the hole you first have to go back to survival mode or creative mode and then build yourself out

He has to double tap the jump button in creative mode to fly out. Adventure mode is the same as survival mode, with the difference that you can't mine or place anything.

In Minecraft there's actually no content that could be scary for a 7-year-old.

OK,
Adventure mode is for adventure.
Other people build something in creative mode, and then he plays those "maps" in adventure mode.
Survival mode is designed for survival, that means your son
can dig your way out again.
I wish him a lot of fun and everyone stays healthy!

Well the survival mode made him nightmares

I used to be afraid of zombies and only played peacefully.

Thanks, we have it
