We have a problem in the local game about Hamachi. Have already tried everything possible. Every time the player wants to join his Mac, the connection takes a long time and then the message comes in the chat: (Player) has left the game. The following was tried:
Minecraft and Hamachi to reinstall both (host and user)
Ports are open and enabled (TCP and UDP 12975)
Firewall at the host open (Win)
Firewall on Mac user open and ports released
Java is released
However, nowhere appears the network on the Mac user.
The problem is not very long. We already played without problems. Unfortunately for us inexplicable reasons, this is no longer possible.
If the network does not show up, you do not have to add it? So at the top of the bar "select connect with existing network", enter network name and possibly password?
Normally Hamachi should create the network, right?
Why are you using Hamachi if you can release ports?
All traffic goes through the Hamachi connection. If a client sucks in any update data, then it all goes through the connection to the host and thereby the line is negatively lame.
Leave Hamachi away, then everyone will use their own line and then everything will be much better…
Only the host has to release its port (25565) and so it's good…
Thank you for your answers.
Unlocking is relatively cumbersome, since Minecraft changes the port every time (local game that is hosted via LAN internally).
What? Why should the port change every time? He certainly does not, otherwise no public server would be permanently available…
And why a local game, when you can host a server on the side…
You make more circumstance than purpose…
The server is NOT public. It is locally hosted game. (See Minecraft server with Hamachi).
I do not need Hamachi to host a server, not publicly host…
Take a look at what VPN actually means…
