I'm having a little problem running the Minecraft Forge installer. I wanted to install the recommended 1.16.5 version and downloaded it from the official website. However, when running the program as usual, so click the download bar at the bottom of the screen and then click on the tile downloaded there. Then he told me I had to choose a program to open and I don't know which one. I downloaded the Java runtime environment because I thought I could open it.
Nothing.
I tried a zip program, but it didn't work either.
Now I wonder what am I missing
Right click on it> Open with…> Java
If Java is not there> select another app> other apps> search for another app on this PC> navigate to the Java path> select javaw.exe
Thanks for the quick answer, unfortunately I can't find the Javaw.exe on the pc. Which Java do I have to download for this?
