Make Minecraft areas lighter?

I wanted to ask how I can make certain areas on a Minecraft map lighter using the command block. Version 1.14.4

I know I could raise the gamma. However, I would like it to be dark in some rooms.

Since it is a larger room, Glowstone, sea lanterns, etc. Does not bring much.

Give night vision and take away in the next room
