Since I got a new PC screen, my PC no longer runs smoothly.

Even Minecraft runs at a maximum of 60 FPS on minimal graphics

Does anyone know what could be the reason?

I have now also connected an HDMI. Could it be because I have to connect a DVI or VGA again?

I would say his monitor has too high a resolution for your PC. Perhaps you have upgraded from full hd to 4k or from hd to full hd, which of course is very noticeable with weak hardware
