Minecraft Player (PC) Survey: How do you sprint?

With which key do you sprint?

Personally, I think Double-W is way too slow - just right for jump-n-runs you have to sprint instant. So I put my sprint button on R, because it's good with your forefinger.

How do you normally sprint? Double-W? Or with a sprint button, and if so where do you have them?

Shortly after the sprinting with the CTRL key was introduced I thought, I'll never use that.

Now I use double-W and CTRL according to how I need it.

I have the shift key, in addition to other keys such as Ctrl or Alt, basically as a shortcut on my mouse, which I like to buy equipped with some more buttons

As an alternative, I use double-W, but only as a stopgap

At Jump And Rund I take Double-W, because I've got it that way. During normal running, I sometimes take Ctrl to the race. Mostly always double-W. Never had any problems, never been too slow

Definitely only with Ctrl…
