If I install a resource pack or something and if I do that in this folder where my other resource packs are, it will not be imported into the game. Why is that?
Wrong file format or maybe not everything a texture pack needs
1. Do you play Java or Bedrock?
2. Is the pack a folder or a .zip file?
I'm playing Bedrock Edition and it's a zip file.
How can I check that?
Are you sure it's a pack for Bedrock? Otherwise I unfortunately can't help you. Play more Java.
I don't pay attention to whether this is a Bedrock Pack? Where does it say whether it is a Bedrock or Java package?
This is usually in the description. If nothing is written there, in 99% of the cases it is Java.
