Artificial Intelligence, Minecraft?

Are computer animals, such as the mobs in Minecraft, artificially intelligent? So living things must meet some criteria. The animals in Minecraft also meet these criteria to be living beings? If not, are then just normal, artificially intelligent things living things?

Ce

No. There's no intelligence. The things just follow the given things in their code depending on the situation in the game. A proper AI must be capable of learning, and not only as simple as the Google Assistant, as I find.

Google Duplex for example

No.

The animals in Minecraft work for simple algorithms. More specifically, every few seconds, a random location in the vicinity is selected, to which they then go via the pathfinding algorithm.

It has nothing to do with Artificial Intelligence.

If you think the animals that exist in the game are somehow intelligent or real creatures are no. It's just some simulations and programs of zeroes and ones. They do not live. They do not really meet the criteria of living things. Still are artificial Inteligenzen as well as rather very stupid. Still, current systems called KI have very little to do with real intelligence or any being with consciousness

Maybe that could change, but these systems are still not really intelligent or somehow live.

If AI is going to be really intelligent, it will be 'only' programs of zeros and ones that do that.

Always interesting what a simple technique is sometimes behind it.
