For 4 days I had been saying "play offline" in minecraft, although before that everything always worked and I have a perfect internet connection. Then I logged out to fix it, but when I try to log in now I get the error message "Sorry, make sure you are online and try again". I don't understand and hope I can help somebody.
Your Minecraft launcher apparently has no access to the Internet, make sure you have your firewall settings correct and close and open your launcher again.
Can it be due to something else? I completely "switched off" the firewall and then it still didn't work. I use McAfee and I didn't know where to find this setting either.
If nothing works, just use an old version of the launcher:
If you have Windows 10, McAfee is the best way to delete it. Because today, standard pre-installed antivirus in Windows are enough.
