Why do I suddenly have so little FPS in minecraft?! I have 8GB of RAM and that's enough for minecraft and TS. My PC is pretty stuffy but that shouldn't affect performance so much.
Depends on how many files there are just "garbage"
Well a lot of unnecessary pictures and stuff and games that I don't play
Maybe the CPU or GPU is causing problems. Keyword heat development and thermal throttling.
Is there a way to test that with a program or something?
Maybe you delete them when you don't need them. Otherwise, internet tabs can still hurt performance. Add 2-4 gb RAM to Minecraft times that might help. If not look at your java version, if it is too old then delete it and download a newer one (best you should only have java on your pc once).
Yes, then I'll give it a try and I haven't updated Java for ages.
Yes, for example with https://www.hwinfo.com/ you can read out all temperature sensors of the system free of charge, including the clock rates of RAM, GPU and the like. CPU.
Did the performance problems suddenly appear? And which processor / graphics card do you have?
Amd Phenom II x6 1090T with a gtx 580. Everything worked well before with several hundreds of FPS. At some point I had 30 FPS in Skypvp and especially on Gomme I had over 100 FPS but almost all the time FPS drops in the 0 range
Ok, then either software should cause problems (keep game, Java and the operating system up to date!) Or one of the components overheats and has to snap down to avoid damage. You can check this while playing with e.g. HWiNFO.
I often have the error 0xc00000e9 but I'm not sure why
