NullPointerException on Minecraft start?

I can unfortunately no longer be seen with the 1.12.2 in the actual forums, otherwise you will be warned immediately and the corresponding thread will be blocked.

My Minecraft keeps crashing when I try to start. The source of the error in the crash log is not very meaningful to me, otherwise I could have solved the problem myself.

Thank you for your help!

Crash report:

Log:

Sy

The bug is in the mod:

WARNING: coremods are present:

MicdoodlePlugin (MicdoodleCore-1.12.2-4.0.2.210.jar)

Contact their authors BEFORE contacting forge

Send the error message to the proger, who can do more with it.

Aq

First I try to throw out MicdoodleCore (and Galacticraft) or update, which I could have done beforehand.

Aq

I have now removed MicdoodleCore and the same error is still thrown with the same error source…

an

Nonsense, that's just a warning, it has nothing to do with it.

an

Are you trying to start a specific modpack? If so, which? If not: could you please make a list of your mods?

Aq

It's all too long again:

Sy

There are several warnings and errors, that was just one of them. Another could be the problem:

[14:28:42] [Client thread / INFO] [FML]: FML has found a non-mod file DiscordIPC-0.4.jar in your mods directory. It will now be injected into your classpath. This could severe stability issues, it should be removed if possible.

It is recommended to remove the discord.jar, it probably does not belong in there, since no mod. Have a look through it yourself and enter the errors in google or simply remove the faulty / not matching parts.

Sy

Then learn English

an

First you learn to read error messages.

A "warning" has absolutely NO connection with a crash.

A warning can always be ignored.

Aq

DiscordIPC belongs to the MinecraftDiscord Mod I wrote and primarily I only use the mod, and it didn't cause any problems before.

But of course I can move all classes from it into my MinecraftDiscord Mod, if it then becomes clearer…

an

From your crash report, I read that the fault lies with Forge itself.

"LCHIJAE | forge | 14.23.5.2847 | forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2847.jar | None"

The E stands for Error. The mods, however, all work flawlessly.

You seem to be using version 14.23.5.2847. It is somewhat out of date. Download the latest / recommended version of Forge (14.23.5.2854) for 1.12.2 and try it with. Here the link:

I tried it, but it still crashes with the same error and the same source of error…

an

Otherwise I only see Ducktechnics. A lot of errors and a fatal one. Try without that.

Where did you get it from, 0 hits on Google, lol.

Aq

I found and solved the problem.

What do you mean by 0 hits on Google?

an

What was the problem and how did you fix it? Would like to know.

Enter "ducktechnics" in quotes on Google, returns zero hits. Tha'ts what I meant. XD

Aq

It was an accidentally made mistake in my DuckTools mod, I didn't notice that I registered the big diamond hammer twice.

I actually always look at the code at least twice…: /

an

Aso.

Aq

Sorry if I have wasted too much time now because of my self-made mistake…: /

This usually doesn't happen to me.
