Does cracking make the internet slower?

I wanted to crack Minecraft accounts today with EggCrack but then my internet slowed down and it stayed slow too. Is that perhaps because of it?

Seriously, can you trust the application EggCrack at all? Illegal files and programs often have viruses and slow them down.

No idea what EggCrack is, but I suppose it's a BruteForce attack - and if it keeps trying logins, it's quite possible that your Internet line is suffering. - At least as long as this EggCrack is active.

And with a bit of "luck", this is anyway a Trojan / Malware (like most "hacker" scripts) and "on the phone" now just keeps going home…

P.S. That this is illegal, you are already aware or?
