The Bedrock Edition was completely redeveloped in C ++ - and here the key word is - fundamentally. Because that's where the name comes from. Since, as you surely know, the bedrock is the bottom layer in the game.

I know, I had Minecraft on AppleTV myself until it stopped getting updates, then I had it on the PS3 until it stopped getting updates, then I bought it for Nintendo Switch, and finally I switched to Java
