On MMOGA there's the Windows 10 Edtion for 4 euro and the Java version for 22 euro. There must be a difference, right?

The Windows 10 Edition runs better because it is not written in Java. There are no differences in content. In addition, it can cross platform with the consoles, except the PS4.
However, this version is not as modifiable as the Java Edition. The community is in Java Edition. Basically all servers run only for the Java Edition. This is the original Minecraft Edition.
Java and Windows 10 Edition can't play together.
