I have not played Minecraft for 2 years and thought, today I'll get it again. When I got it normally via Mojang.com came just before the end of this error. I asked a bit and saw that the "bug" or "bug" already existed 2-5 years ago. I have already tried to reinstall Java although that would not be necessary. I also repaired and uninstalled Minecraft. Both did not work either! I have no idea what to do now.
Sure you have the right Java (Java Offline) installed, not the browser Java / Java Online?
The Java page redirects you directly to the browser Java. The other (right) Java is a bit hidden in "all downloads".
Has happened to several acquaintances of mine, maybe your mistake is there.
