Minecraft no longer connected?

I recently wanted to play Minecraft with someone. At first everything went but when we wanted to start playing it said that I'm not online. I tried to log in again but there's an apology all the time! Make sure you are online and try again. I have restarted my PC but it still doesn't work. Maybe someone knows what's going on?
