Cpu 100 degrees at Fortnite?

I dropped my pc the day before yesterday (long story) and when I turned it on to check whether something broke, I noticed that the CPU cooler no longer worked (the CPU temperature rose up to 70 ° C) removed the cpu cooler, removed the thermal compound with some alcohol and connected the boxed cooler. Everything was going great, but when I was in the middle of a game, the temperature suddenly rose again. I removed the boxed cooler and then connected it, but it didn't happen yesterday - in the middle of the game, the CPU temperature rose again to 76 ° C and always stayed between 60-70 ° C. With Minecraft the temperature is always between 60-65 ° and with Fortnite - even when loading the game the cpu is 90-100 °! How the * can't a boxed cooler stop this? Why does this temperature even come when the game is loading?

Then the cooling pins are probably bent or broken off

Hi

Cpu perfectly normal at 76 degrees from 90 but one should be careful.

A boxed cooler should usually pack it away loosely only either you have packed thermal paste or kp what you are doing wrong.

did you overclock the cpu?

I've had the boxed cooler on the same cpu over 80 degrees for 7 years

As far as I know I have not overclocked anything

The heat paste must be removed completely and then the cooler must be properly seated and the fan must be properly connected. The boxed coolers are not always the best, but something like that should prevent a boxed cooler. The fan must also be able to breathe if it draws too little air is also stupid. Maybe you open the side wall of your pc. I would touch the cooler when it is cold and still shows 70 degrees then the temp sensor is broken.
