When I play Minecraft, the data is always saved in C: //AppData/.minecraft
But I don't have that much space left on C: // and I want to move it to D: //. Unfortunately it is not that easy because in the current Minecraft Launcher it is not possible to change the storage space.
Does anyone have any ideas how to do that anyway?
Just move the files or reinstall the launcher and change the storage location
Installation> at the profile on which you are playing on the 3 dots> next to game directory> search> now you can choose the new installation path. You still have to move the worlds and texture packs from the .minecraft folder yourself.
I've already done that and changed everything on D: //, but things like the worlds and texture packs are still saved on C: //AppData/.minecraft and I can't change that.
