Forge does not appear. What should I do?

I have previously downloaded forge for the 1.12.2 version of minecraft.

Forge is not shown to me, however. What should I do? (It is in the versions folder but not in the launcher) I also have the latest version of the launcher and otherwise it always works.

You have to go to versions in the launcher, then check Modified, then scroll down to versions and add Forge.
