It is so that I have bought a new gaming PC. Tomorrow I have to delete everything from my current PC except for what Windows needs. So that also means Minecraft.
When you have a new gaming PC at home I have to set it up and then reinstall all the games that I have to delete from my old PC.
If I then reinstall the Minecraft Launcher (Java Edition), can I continue to log in as usual with my login data and continue playing where I left off or do I have to create a new account?
Yes, you can still log in with your old account
you don't have to pay anything
only the server list, the mods, the texture packs and the already downloaded MINECRAFT versions against lost, which you can easily reinstall
the single player worlds remain as far as I know, but I'm not 100% sure
Keep playing normally
You just have to register online and everything is saved.
With offline worlds you simply have to copy the Minecraft files to the other PC, then the offline worlds are there again
Yes, just download it again and log in normally.
Save your worlds beforehand and copy them back to the correct folder. On servers you continue where you left off.
I don't play offline because it's just boring.
Yes, you can just log in and play. Only the saves are gone, unless you load them on a USB stick and then drag them to the PC. For that there are also instructions in YouTube or something. But you don't have to buy anything.
And can I keep my skin like this or do I have to download and install it again?
