Minecraft shader folder not there?

Hay I just watched a tutorial on how to add a shader to Minecraft. But it kind of doesn't work for me on the last step. I should move my shader into some Minecraft shader folder, but I don't have a Minecraft folder at all.

Don't you have a Minecraft folder or a Shader folder at all? They are two completely different things. Start your Minecraft with Optifine. Then the folder should form.

Otherwise you can go to Graphics Settings → Shader → Shader Folder

Then a folder opens in which you can drag your shader.
