What do you mean with a new installation?
Download and install the driver, it will almost always be reinstalled automatically.
It depends on where exactly the hum is localized, does it come from the PC or from the loudspeakers?
When it comes from the PC, there may be a coil whine which is more or less noticeable depending on the load. The beeping / buzzing can also come from the monitor.
If it comes out of the speakers, it could be due to the drivers, the sockets or the speakers themselves.
