I have to send Switch for repair - how should I save data?

I have the drift problem of Joy-Cons and would like to send it in, only there's the problem of how I can save my games and games. Yes, I know you can do it through Nintendo Online, but that's not my goal. The question I ask myself: If I have a Nintendo account and bought games through it, do I have all the games no matter whether my scores are lost or do I have to save games somehow? And my second question: Can you save the Minecraft worlds on the Nintendo Switch via the Microsoft account or do I also have to secure this with Nintendo Online? I would appreciate an answer. PS: You can't save the saved games on microSD, your saved games could be lost (according to Nintendo).

So, the games are safe through the Nintendo account. You should basically remove microsd cards beforehand (it is not a reliable storage source but at least it saves something). If you don't, do it and send it back after repair with the switch. The storage data should be safe, especially if the Joycons only drift. When I sent mine in because of the headphone entrance that didn't work from the beginning. I still had all the scores.
