I play via feed the beast on 1.7 on a server. If I use my mining turtle, it works well except for one big problem and fulfills its purpose until then, namely I feel that it stops mining as soon as I walk away. Is that normal? If so, you can do something about it because I don't want to run after my turtle all the time.
Yes it is because the chunks are no longer loaded. The same applies to all other blocks that do something like quarries etc
build a chunk loader that covers the area where the turtle is mined
alternatively, you can push the chunkloader with a second turtle behind the first then you have no problem that the turtle may move out of the area
If the chunks are not loaded, they stop working.
