A few colleagues and I would like to play Minecraft together on a server but with mods. So far so good, we rented a 4players server. There we would have to upload the respective mods. With FileZilla, I could not connect at all and WinSCP has the server connection worked but when uploading the message: "Error when transferring the file" C: \ Users * \ Desktop (Modverzeichnis) \ Mod to be uploaded "405 Method Not Allowed. Unfortunately, I know not at all with the whole… About help, I would be extremely grateful.
Do you have rights to write with WinSCP in the folder?
How do i get these? If that's what you mean: I'm the administrator
With WinSCP you can manage the permissions like Windows with right click on an Rmote folder, RWX - Read, Write, eXecute, look at the mods folder if you have write rights.
I just looked, I have all the rights… I can't remove my copy. Or that turns on automatically.
I would like to get in touch with the support of 4Players, maybe they can better help their system.
Hopefully you are not trying to connect to WinSCP on the HTTP port?
I'll have to try…
Nene for the sake of God. That would not even work, right?
after I opened the minecraft config page on 4players, I also used the link… All others do not work anyway
405 method not allowed is a typical HTTP message and yet, WinSCP also speaks WebDAV. That If you control the HTTPd port, WinSCP would try to communicate via Webdav.
