Sea Serpent spawn even if false is set in the config (Ice and Fire) (Minecraft)?

I have set in the config that Sea Serpent (sea snakes) no longer spawn because they annoy me extremely and they are extremely overpowered in my eyes. But I still find heaps of them in the ocean so that you can no longer cross it normally.

if that goes like this I either have to uninstall Ice and Fire or add a Gun Mod (which is already in the Donsload folder) and just shoot them to death
