Reaches an AMD R5 3400G, he has only 4 cores / 8 threads, but it runs on a high clock (3.7 GHz - 4.2 GHz) I'm going to buy this CPU and then when I have money back a strong Graka ( GTX 1080, RTX 2060 Super etc.). Because I do not want to change my CPU then the question is whether the R5 3400g is enough. For gaming he will probably be well suited because he has a very high clock and I will only play games like Minecraft, Robocraft and vlt soon CS: GO or GTA 5 games / games. I hope especially that the CPU is also suitable for multitasking. I've often looked around at AMD and can't find a better CPU with intigrated Graka. If I know a good 40-50Euro graphics card that is comparable to the Vega 11 from the CPu I could also get the one and then a Ryzen 7, but clock the comparatively very slow. Are 4Kerne / 8Threads sufficient for multitasking? Will most likely run a Minecraft server on the PC with many mods, will have Eclipse open for programming and at the same time gambling and vlt music or YT yet. I will put on Win 10 Pro and accomplish everything on a 21: 9 FHD + 1080x2560 monitor.
No, he is even very bad for gaming, see FX 9590, 5GHz and still worse than the Ryzen 3 2200G. IPC is much more important than good tact. Take the Ryzen 5 3600 and a used video card from Ebay for the meantime.
PS: The G models are still based on the old 12nm architecture and do NOT include the 15% better IPC. So it's just a Ryzen 5 2600 with 2 cores less and a graphics unit.
I would not call that a very high measure, but multitasking and games will keep up the CPU.
Buy yourself a CPU without graphics unit and a used video card (1050TI or something, or 9XX). So a 6-Kerner or something.
With an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 and a RX 570 you are better prepared. The Ryzen 5 3400G is okay, but not for your purposes, as you describe it.
