A few friends and I are currently looking for a very varied modpack in Minecraft. The problem is that we have different interests when it comes to mods. Some prefer technology mods and other magic mods etc.
In the techniclauncher we didn't find things that were so nice because we had already played a lot there, which is why we clicked through the FTB modpacks. There's also a large selection of packs there, but we can't find the right one.
It should play in the newer versions (1.9+). So not FTB Infinity Evolved. Skyblock Modpacks would be nice too!
Look at curseforge there you can get everything for you I recommend Allthemods3 this is a nice big kitchen sink modpack with many different mods
I can recommend RL Craft but don't know if this is an FTB modpack!

RL Craft is good but only grabs me personally for 3 days
Sky Factory 4, moves away from standard mods from other Skyblocks. Very interesting if you've played Skyblocks before.
MC Eternal, a huge modpack with magic, technology, dragons and a lot to discover.
Enigmatica 2, similar to Eternal but also suitable for less powerful computers.
These are all 1.12.2 packs, personally I don't think much of 1.16 * packs, the mods are not mature enough for me and the fight between Forge and Fabric is just annoying.
However, the Craft to Exile Packs are also really good.

Also all strong modpacks, if you just look at the mods.
If you know about modpacks and don't necessarily need a quest book and rewards, it is advisable to create your own pack. You can then also adapt, add and remove mods if need be and you don't have to rely entirely on others.
