Hey I'm currently playing on 1.14.4 with friends vanilla, but I have optifine and shader, now I would like to install a minimap mod and nei or jei, so client mods stop, but I can't install forge and optifine at the same time because of the installer, somehow make me stupid I know
You have to install forge and then you should make a mods folder in the .minecraft folder that you normally find in the appdata form. There you can then the optifine.jar and the minimap purely praise and the box should run

I've just downloaded the optifine jar from the optifine.net page (but that's also the installer, that's why ka.)
With optifine there's no difference between installer and normal version. As far as I know, optifine and forge are not compatible in the 1.14.4 (currently). So you have to decide.
