Is there a way to get to the source of Minecraft?

I'm a passionate Minecraft mod developer, so far I have been more likely to work with version 1.8.8 with MCP, but now that the Aquadic update came out, I've decided to coden in the newer versions as well.

Somehow, however, I have the MCP and Forge let us down a bit, because the 1:13 is out soon for half a year, and there are still no published publications. Are there any other providers that do the same?

Ever noticed that Minecraft 1.13 brings massive changes? That's why it takes so long. If you just stopped by the GitHub Repos, you would notice that constant work is being done on the update.

You will also find no alternative to MCP, because the whole is a huge effort.

And why did OptiFine do it in a month to code the necessary mappets?

St

Because the developer is very familiar with Minecraft and can do it without the complete source code.

And the Forge / MCP people are not very familiar with Minecraft?

St

Of course they are good, but what they do is a much bigger project.

Of course you're right, but I'm still surprised that after almost 6 months no snapshots have been released (definitely not on the official page)
