I got a PC for Christmas and it has been hanging up at any time since January 1st. Sometimes when I start the PC, sometimes when I do nothing and just chill on the desktop, sometimes when I open Task Manager, sometimes when I download something from Steam, when I play Minecraft (garrys mod; csgo; r6 too) and much more. Can someone help me there?
These are my specs:
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M5A99X EVO R2.0
AMD FX (tm) -8350
Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 amp
16GB Ram
120GB SSD: crucial ct120m500ssd1
1TB HDD: wdc wd10ezex-60zf5a0
I also checked the HDD with Windows and it didn't detect any errors. (I have my games on the HDD)
I'll also tell you about my programs, if they are important:
Steam; GeForce Experience; Wallpaper engine; Microsoft Edge; Epic Games Launcher; Driver booster 8; Ubisoft Connect; Silvercrest SGK gaming software; Google Chrome; Discord; iCUE; Minecraft Launcher; Terraria; The forest; Counter-Strike Global Offensive; Assassin's Creed Odyssey; Garry's Mod; The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt; Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege; TranslucentTB
According to Driver Booster 8 I have all current drivers.
Can someone help me?
I would start with a memory long-term test, for example 24 hours.
Check the downloads to see what you installed on January 1st.
Run Safe Mode for 4h.
Maybe there are logs to check.
if no help in sight, boot around an Ubuntu or emergency CD or DVD
Rule out hardware errors.
Possible causes:
- Broken Windows files
- Wallpaper Engine is too heavy on the CPU and GPU
- The disk on which you installed Windows is full
- How do I check if my Windows files are damaged?
- Even before I installed Wallpaper Engine, the PC hung up. For me, Wallpaper Engine consumes a maximum of 9% CPU (very rare case); 500MB Ram and 2% GPU
- I installed Windows on my SSD and still have 62.6GB free on it
- How do I do such a long-term memory test?
- Silvercrest SGK gaming software from Lidl
- Likewise, how do I turn on Safe Mode?
- And where can such logs be checked?
You need an expert who knows.
OK thanks
