On a friend's server (THE SERVER IS NOT Really LARGE!), A Herobrine recently popped up! He has teleported from player to player - in different shifts - sometimes had no name tag and if he had one then Herobrine. He also hit a player!
Unfortunately I was not online at the time, but the few people who were on the server took screenshots and filmed them!
My friend and his friends know something about hacking and have assured that it was not a hack and that this was not displayed on the server (where you can see what changes - ka as that is called xD)
In any case, they had no mod in it, nobody should hack and no command blocks were used! In addition, it is really complex to build something with Comandblocks!
I think that someone has hacked into the server and somehow manipulated it, but so far nothing is clear!

So I was once a Sevrer owner and it is more than easy to find a plugin or mod for it. Especially as a plugin, it is in less than 2 minutes. Loaded on the server… Actually, nothing special XD hacker will hardly have been.
I have multiple Minecraft servers. One runs on the default port 25565. It is very common for people to try to join. Is not because of whitelist, so I will not change the port for the time being but it is not difficult to program a bot that tests a few IPs on the standard port until it finds an open server. If someone has found such a server, they can often do a lot. He can only teleport as an operator. Or with "hacks". I don't believe that in the CMD, where the server is running nothing. Either your friends are playing a prank on you or the server host's PC has been hacked and someone has remote access to the computer. Then the hacker can do pretty much anything. For a bit of fun but actually too much effort. So if a script kiddie wasn't anymore.
In other words, change the server port to 25566 for example and relax. There's nothing.
